2018 – Week 8 Picks - Jacknife Sports

It was a big week of upsets last week and Travis picked all the wrong upsets as he finished under .500 in his picks both straight up and against the spread. Allan and Kyle did a bit better staying above .500 straight up. The overall season standings between the three is very close halfway through. (Travis - 6-9 SU, 6-9 ATS. Allan - 9-6, 6-9. Kyle - 8-7, 7-8.)

This week has quite a few top 25 matchups. Nothing of the top 10 variety, but a lot that will decide the direction of conference division winners. Clemson has looked awesome one week, and very beatable another week. NC State almost beat them at Clemson a couple years ago. Maybe they pull it off this time. Oregon has to go on the road and avoid a letdown against Washington State after their big OT win against Washington. Pullman will be hyped with Gameday in town, and it's already a tough place to play. Michigan has found creative ways to lose to the Spartans over the years. Can they keep their run going against their big in-state rivals? And of course the biggest question of all - can Alabama cover their huge spread?
