2019 – Week 10 Picks

Travis is starting to separate from the pack a little bit in the picks department this season.  After a terrible showing in 2018, he has picked up his game so far for 2019.  Still a lot of time to lose that lead, but for now his leads the season in both picks straight up and against the spread.  The season standings as we head into the final month of the season: Travis (90-45 SU, 75-56-4 ATS), Allan (89-46 SU, 63-69-3 ATS), Kyle (80-55 SU, 68-63-4 ATS).

The season has now turned into the month of November.  It's the home stretch of the season, and to kick off that home stretch we have an....underwhelming slate of games.  The lack of intrigue is probably due to the fact that LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Penn State are all on bye, in addition to many other teams.  We do have the World's Largest Cocktail Party taking place this weekend.  The loser of this game probably is eliminated from Playoff contention as the winner will have essentially a 2-game lead for the SEC east because of the tie-breaker.  Georgia will still have Missouri, Auburn, and Texas A&M for conference games this season, while Florida will only have Vanderbilt and Missouri to go through to finish off conference season.

The primetime game for the week is Group of 5 game.  That's actually a nice change of pace.  I can't imagine it will be worse than the Notre Dame-Michigan game we were subjected to last week.  In fact, this game will feature two very entertaining teams.  #15 SMU takes on #24 Memphis.  It seems like it should be a high scoring affair.

Other than those 2 games, there is not another game featuring two ranked teams.  This season with every team having 2 byes has really given the season an odd rhythm.

Teams on bye:  Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU, Texas, Iowa State, Michigan State, Ohio, Missouri, Washington State, Penn State, Iowa, Toledo, San Diego State, Wisconsin, Western Michigan, Stanford, Minnesota, Texas Tech, Southern Miss, Temple, LA Tech, Arizona State, Kentucky, South Florida, California, Duke, Wyoming, Miami (OH), Ball State, Louisville, Kent State, Georgia State, South Alabama, New Mexico State
